H&Ns much-awaited Baracuda 8 pellets represent an interesting idea. A lighter-weight pellet with a smaller-than-average head size. In theory, these should have a reduced friction coefficient in the barrel leading to a faster speed out of the barrel. With suitable rifling the theory is that these will get to their stabilising spin faster leading to a better grouping in lower-powered rifles.
